Resurfacing of the Tank

Just a brief post letting you know that I'm still around and will return to my blog soon. It's almost time for the yearly clean-up and interface maker-over (I personally can't wait) and I'll be trying to post on regular basis too.
The tank is about to reach clear skies... *grins*

Thanks for the swim,

Faerie Pellets

This is my main muse in one of her many adventures. The topic is a thing called 'Faerie Pellets' and she is experiencing the affect of them.

Later on I'm going to post the aftermath of whats she's eaten. The page is actually apart of a BIG project I'm working on. I'll explain more about it later on

The Fairest...

Hey swimmers,

I honestly do not know how I pulled this out of my head. Haha. I'm usually weary when it comes to Disney art. But wasn't as tedious as I thought and I like the final product. Below is the line art and above what she would look like with coloring.

Honestly I had been watching, 'Once Upon a Time' on Hulu and the idea had popped in my head. But I wanted her to be 'accruate' to the Grimm stories. SO!She is dressed to impress in 16th century Germany and she still loves that apple...

Good early morning swimmers!

I just wanted to post something up just so you know I'm still drawing in my handy-dandy-sketchbook. I haven't had much time to post online, but I'm still drawing none-the-less. Though work has been my big time compressor, I've also started working on 'my secret project' a month ago.
It's taking a bit of time, but its going very well. I'll let you know the details a bit later once I have some things finalized! In the meantime above is a sketch and illustration of my favorite Muse!

Day Twenty-Four: Family

Hello! Day twenty-four has come three days late unfortunately. Hopefully my busy work schedule and devotion to 'other projects' won't get too much in the way. Anyways, today's subject is on family. So I made a quick sketch of Wood and his parents (traditional family portrait).

Keep those paddles,

Day Twenty-Three: Lovers

Good morning!

Day 23 up! Title is 'lovers', though it seems to be the complete opposite right now....haha.
BUT they will be! This is how it all begins. Willow's parents. ;)

Keep in the waters,

Family feuds are never good...especially between sisters.

Day Twenty-One: Friends

Day Twenty: Colorless

Hi deep-sea divers,

Its always scary sometimes to draw a new character when you know them to look an ENTIRELY different way...
This use to be Charlie, but he has a mak-over (very rough right now) and also will receive a new name.  ;)

Stay a float,

Day Nineteen: White

Good Afternoon swimmers,

Here lies Willow in one of her many adventures. I think she should be dressed warmer personally...

Day Eighteen: Black

Hi swimmers...

Looks like Willow has found herself an interesting tree. She's pretty brave to go into the jungle at night. Dangerous... Wonder whats on it?

Day Eight: Weeks

Yay, Day Eight is up. This time I just did a comic of Woodberry. He just received a package after a long vacation. Apparently the sender, Rita McGoosley sent his peach cobbler weeks before his arrival back...eew.

Floaty float,

Day Seven: Built

Hi swimmers! So I've been super busy and didn't get a chance to post this illustration yesterday night. Day Seven's topic was very tricky to draw so I decided to try an 'Artists Choice' and draw something with a topic I thought up.
Its 'Built', as in the house that Woodberry built. I haven't touched this character ever since my college days. He has always been one of my favorite creations and this was the perfect opportunity to start drawing him (and his universe) again.

Hopefully by tonight I should have day eight posted (if I don't fall asleep first)..haha.

Day Six: Hours

Hi swimmers,

I was stuck with this I decided to solve the problem with Fan art(like what the original 100 list suggests). It takes a long time to brew potions...minutes..hours..days. The picture is of Luna Lovegood(Loony Luna) all grown up and whipping up some concoction! Hopefully it tastes good.

Float peacefully on the bay,

Day Five: Outsides

The beautiful untamed jungle...looks humid.

Hi swimmers,

This is something random that I completed yesterday. It has nothing to do with my '100 drawing' challenge. Lately, ever since I started drawing everyday I've had the urge to draw for hours(which I've been happily doing). This is one of the aftermaths of such sessions. Originally I had it for my blog page (maybe a new header?). But i'm still deciding on what to do with the background.
Hopefully today I should have time to submit Day Five! Talk with yah soon!

Monday, June 11, 2012

I've been reading a bit of Harry Potter again (can't help myself)... I drew a self portrait in the 'Potter Universe' for funsies.

Day Four: Insides

Insides! In this case, 'inside of something'. Like Hide-and-go-seek!

Day Two: Middles

Hi Swimmers,

WIP but not really. I wanted to render out the characters but not much of the background...meh (got lazy). This is the second of my 100 drawing days and hopefully I can keep this up. Right now I'm going by a list but I might switch some topics out in case I cant think of anything...No. 2 on the list was 'Middles'. My interpretation was the 'middle' child in the family. Though I can't speak for myself ( I have no siblings) most of my friends tell me it can be pretty lonely sometimes. Anyways here it is!

Thanks for swimming by,

A New Year, a new interface

Hey swimmers! Its been about a month since I last posted and now im back (again) to try to uphold my resolution to myself. Life is pretty hectic now-a-days, BUT not enough to quit what I love (drawing of course). Soooo, Im starting off with a new skin for my blog! As you can see were still dwelling in the tank. It just seems a bit murkier as we go deeper and deeper into the abyss...

I have to admit, I was inspired by a few other artist for my header! Loish being one of them (you can see her works on my 'Inspirations' list) and Ms. Alyssa being another( under the 'members' list). Also starting asap, I plan on starting my BIG project thats been in the works for years. Now I finally have an idea on how I'm going to present it, soooooo....
I'll fill you in more on it later once I start the work. Have a good day everyone and..

Catch yah later..(get it!! Cause were in a tank...nevermind),

Weapon Concepts-Rough

Good morning, today I have some rough weapon designs that I have been working on last weekend and this week. Like I said,  roughs, but I may do some clean-up and coloring. I also plan on making more concepts of different weapons too. The 'Crane Priest' I may also color...everythings up in the air at the moment.

Keep in that aqua pool,

Melting Plant

Good Evening everyone!

I just finished this drawing and couldn't wait to post it up. Their flowers...that GLOW...and a candle. I had drew the rough doodle during work and really wanted to see some color! I have a few other roughs that I plan to color and post as well... but ALSO have soooo many crazy ideas swimming in my head at the moment. Hopefully I can prioritize and get the ball really rolling. Have a good night!

The Wizard- Color

Good morning swimmers! I finally got around to coloring 'The Wizard'. I havent done this much detailed rendering before so it took longer then I thought. But I love the colors and how he turned out in the end. I really  want to start coloring some of my characters and props with this much detail. I think it'll be different and fun. Hopefully I'll have the patience. Lol.

New Year with a Wizard

Happy New Year everyone! Its been pretty hectic on my end, but things are starting to wend down to a steady pace. I haven't been posting too much lately, so I really wanted to put something up to start off the new year. 'THE WIZARD'! I drew him a few weeks ago but didn't have access to a scanner on my holiday travels. I do plan on coloring him SOON. He's turning out to be a favorite of mine..

Keep a-float!
