Face Experiment

Not really one of my first self portraits since school...BUT one that I tried to put a 'painterly' touch on. I've still kept with my basic style but this was really an exercise on painting in photoshop. I usually use a lot of lines in my drawings and wanted to do something different.

For this one, I basically drew from scratch. Which to me, means no lines involved... and boy was it hard to get use too. But I'll defiantly try it again.

Today starts the animal weekend experiment that I've decided to do. This is the first drawing, 'Uncle Maximus'. Since I rarely draw animals to begin with, I've dedicated a whole three days of drawing nothing but animals. Uncle Max is the start and hopefully there will be more of him (since I really like his character).

Just a post for the day. I've been sick at home and had the energy to draw this picture. It's actually from a dream I had a couple of days ago. The little girl peering up is suppose to be me. It's funny, in my dream she didn't have tusks(like they normally do) so I didn't draw her with any. I plan on exploring this a little bit more, but for now I just I wanted to draw this quick sketch that's been in my head.

Good morning everyone. Here are some objects I started drawing a couple of days ago. I haven't drawn objects in a while (except with characters) so this is somewhat new to me. I prefer not too, but practice makes perfect and I'm sure it will come in handy someday. Anyways, this is kinda getting the juices going and im sure there will be more to come.
